Direct-Push
Environmental field investigation techniques have advanced
greatly in the last few years, and at the forefr ont of these techniques is the
Direct-Push rapid sampling unit. S2C2 understands our client’s needs for more
cost effective and efficient technologies for addressing environmental problems
and has integrated these technologies into our field investigations. A
Direct-Push Unit with an experienced operator is capable of significantly
reducing sampling time, which cuts clients costs proportionally. The advantage
of using a Direct-Push Unit is that this equipment enables us to:
- Collect multiple depth-discrete multi media samples from one hole;
- Perform vertical aquifer profiling to determine zones of maximum impact;
- Collect numerous groundwater samples without installing permanent wells;
- Eliminate the need to manage drill cuttings and large volumes of purge
water;
- Collect up to 30 samples per day;
- Access difficult sampling locations with minimal disturbance; and
- Integrate sample collection with on-site mobile laboratories or field
analytical equipment when using the TRIAD approach.
